The women of Hoheneck were imprisoned in the notorious Hoheneck women's prison because they were critical of the regime or could no longer tolerate the restrictions on their freedom of movement. The women's stories clearly show how deeply the GDR dictatorship interfered in people's lives.

For centuries, Poles have lived in Berlin and shaped the city. On the open-air installation “Freedom, Equality, Solidarity” in the exhibition BERLIN GLOBAL, the focus is on Berlin as a site of Polish struggles for freedom and against discrimination — but also as a place of dialogue and solidarity.

Exhibition in the Zion Church featuring humorous comics by Dirk Moldt, former cartoonist for the Environmental Library and the opposition magazine Umweltblätter, in collaboration with the Robert Havemann Gesellschaft.
