Autumn ’89 – Tour and Discussion

Many people have personal memories of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the momentous events of autumn 1989. Where were you on 9 November 1989? How did you experience that day and the weeks leading up to it? If you were too young to have been there yourself, what would you like to learn from contemporary witnesses? The short tour through the exhibition, ‘Roads not Taken. Or: Things could have turned out differently`, focuses on pivotal moments of the peaceful revolution in the GDR, caught between protest and state violence. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to exchange and share memories in small groups.
