On Air for the colorful world between 0 and 1!
Turn on the microphone—and let’s get started!
How is a podcast actually made? And what do algorithms and artificial intelligence have to do with it? Children will discover that during a special event at the Children’s University at the Technical University of Applied Sciences in Wildau as part of Berlin Freedom Week, which focuses on freedom, democracy, and human rights.
Special guests: Young podcasters Minel (12) and Jan (17), who co-host the science podcast “Brandwissen.” They’ll share how they got into podcasting during a summer course offered by proWissen and how they now release a new episode every two weeks.
In the first part, Minel and Jan will demonstrate how podcasting works: from the initial idea through recording to the final edit.
In the second part, things get exciting: Together with Prof. Lydia Göse (TH Wildau, Digital Marketing), they’ll create a half-hour live podcast episode on the topic “The Digital World Isn’t Binary: On Ones and Zeros and the Colorful World in Between.” After all, what we see, read, and hear is increasingly determined by algorithms and AI. But the digital world is more than just 0s and 1s - in between lies a colorful world that we can shape ourselves!
Moderator: Dr. Simone Leinkauf, proWissen Potsdam e.V.
