Historical guided tour of the grounds of what was once the largest children's home in the GDR

Since 2018, a small museum dedicated to this particular subject has been located on the historic site of what was once the largest children’s home in the GDR. In a permanent exhibition, visitors can learn about the history of this unique architectural monument, the daily life of the approximately 25,000 children who lived there, and many related topics, as well as engage in personal conversations with eyewitnesses. A 2.5-hour guided tour at 11am around the former children’s home grounds rounds off this journey through time.
