Sing for Hope – Young Voices for Humanity!

Vor Ort
Konzert

Sing for Hope is a youth-led project that gives visibility and a voice to the thoughts, feelings, and issues that matter to young people today. As part of Berlin Freedom Week, the Sing for Hope team, supported by the SozDia Foundation Berlin, is hosting an evening of music and young artistic expression, putting the perspectives, ideas, and commitment of a generation center stage. These are artists who refuse to remain silent simply because no one asked them to speak – they take the stage and make their voices heard.

Sing for Hope is accompanied by an art exhibition in which young artists come together to creatively explore the theme of “Freiraum” – spaces of freedom. The exhibition explores personal freedom, creative expression, and the question of how spaces for freedom can be  created and preserved in a city like Berlin.

The exhibition offers young artists the opportunity to present their work to the public and share their individual perspectives. Through this exchange, visitors gain diverse insights into what “Freiraum” means to young people.

The aim is to create a space where community grows instead of division, where diversity is welcomed, and where listening to one another becomes the foundation. With its roots in the Peaceful Revolution, the SozDia Foundation Berlin is particularly committed to creating spaces where young people can get involved, express their creativity, and play an active role in society.

Sing for Hope is also a benefit project: the proceeds from the evening will go to a humanitarian aid organization, extending the spirit of solidarity beyond the event itself.

Admission to the concert is free. We invite everyone to join us for an evening of music, connection, and hope. Because when we listen to one another, support each other, and stand together for a diverse and caring society, we can make a difference.
