The former Stasi headquarters in Berlin-Lichtenberg is now a place of democratic learning. As part of Berlin Freedom Week, various partner institutions invite you to exclusive special tours on the Campus for Democracy.

In guided tours through archives and exhibitions, visitors gain unique insights into the mechanisms of surveillance and the history of opposition in the GDR. In addition to tours through the Stasi Records Archive and the Archive of the GDR Opposition, there are eyewitness talks as well as guided tours of the grounds — including the open-air exhibition "Revolution and the Fall of the Wall."

How did the Stasi security system function? Who offered resistance? And what significance does remembrance hold for our democracy today? These events are aimed at anyone interested in history, critical reflection, and democratic education.

Participation in the tours is free of charge; group registration is required in advance. Meeting points and times vary — details available on-site and online.
