Taiwanese Night Market at Markthalle Neun – Streetfood

For everyone who loves Taiwan’s night markets, here comes a taste in Berlin: The Taiwanese Night Market brings the vibrant atmosphere of Taipei’s streets into Markthalle Neun. Several stands from Berlin’s Taiwanese scene will prepare typical snacks and modern interpretations – from crispy bites to hearty favourites (selection of participating kitchens tbc). Besides food, the focus is on encounter and exchange: short glimpses into Taiwan’s culinary and everyday culture plus music will create an authentic night-market feeling.

The evening is part of Berlin Freedom Week and realized in cooperation with Markthalle Neun, the Axel Springer Freedom Foundation, the Taipei Representative Office in Germany, and the European Academy Berlin (EAB). The aim is to make culture tangible, open spaces for dialogue, and show the diversity of a living democracy – low-threshold, enjoyable, and open to all.
