Zero Day Attack - Public screening followed by a panel discussion

The German-Taiwanese Society (DTG) invites you to a special event as part of Berlin Freedom Week: We will be showing the first episode of the new Taiwanese television series ‘Zero Day Attack’ (Original in Mandarin with English subtitles), which premiered in August 2025.

The series deals with a scenario that is highly controversial worldwide: a sudden invasion of Taiwan by China. In ten episodes, ‘Zero Day Attack’ not only highlights the geopolitical dimension of such an attack, but also its impact on society, the civilian population, and individual fates. Supported by the Taiwanese Ministry of Culture and the armed forces, the series offers an impressive cinematic exploration of issues of freedom, democracy, and security in East Asia.

Following the screening of Episode 1, we invite you to a panel discussion in which experts will shed light on the background, political dimensions, and relevance for Europe. With this event, the DTG aims to draw attention to the importance of a vibrant democracy and promote dialogue between Germany and Taiwan.
